About BabyXinChao! Educare

BabyXinChao! Educare is a small learning corner in Singapore for Vietnamese children, and for the families behind them. We look after children after school and we teach them — in groups that never grow past nine.

We have been doing this for eight years. In that time we have sat with a lot of families at the same kitchen-table moment: the school has been chosen, the flight has been taken, and now a child who was doing well at home is coming back quiet and tired every afternoon.

What we do

Two things, and they run together. After-school care means a safe place between the last bell and the end of your shift — homework finished, a proper snack, someone who notices how the day went. Lessons mean small-group work in English, Math, Science, or preparation for the entry test that international students sit before joining a government school.

Why the group stays small

Below ten children at any point in time. Not as an offer, but as the way we work. A child still finding their English will not tell you they are lost — they will nod along. The only way to catch that is to have few enough children in the room to watch every face.

We speak Vietnamese

Your child can ask a question in Vietnamese and get an answer they understand. So can you. Nothing gets lost at the door because a parent could not find the English word for what was worrying them.

What we are honest about

We are a small learning corner, not a school and not a registered tuition centre. We have no connection to the Ministry of Education and no influence over school places. We will tell you plainly if we think we are not the right fit for your child, or if the timing is wrong.

BabyXinChao! Educare runs under Lim Lam Pte Ltd.

9 children, at most
We keep every group below 10 children at any point in time. That is the whole idea, not a temporary arrangement.
8 years of doing this
Long enough to know which parts of Singapore school life trip Vietnamese children up first.
